I am a (mid) twenty something young professional with a passion for baking. I started baking regularly in 2003 and have been trying to expand my skills ever since. Please know that I am not a professional baker and certainly won’t pretend to be. I have no secrets, sometimes I think I just get lucky! I think my true talent lies in being picky about the recipes I choose to make (for each one I make I usually reject at least 10 others). I have a taste for great flavor combinations, which I think stems from my love of all things sweet!
I have a wonderful husband who has no problems sampling everything I bake. We don’t have children yet but have two adorable shih-tzu poodles named Maisy and Maiya.
My goal in starting this blog is to share my most used recipes and also to expand my baking adventures and creativity. I am also exploring photography for the first time and am hoping my food styling skills will improve (please bear with me!). Many of the recipes you see on this blog will come from other sources and I will always give credit where credit is due. I have also begun to experiment with my own recipes and certainly have my ups and downs. If you would like to use any of my content I am flattered, but all I ask is that you give me credit.
